Being part of the Better Together Wedding Fair in 2024 was an absolute privilege as a Christchurch wedding photographer. Capturing the magic of the styled shoots was not only inspiring but also a reflection of my passion for storytelling through imagery. The two styled shoots at Better Together did exactly that, showcasing distinct bridal looks and the incredible talent of local vendors who brought them to life.

Look One: Timeless Elegance
The first styled shoot was the epitome of vintage romance. The bride, dressed in a lace gown from To Cherish Bridal, embodied timeless sophistication. With its high neckline, long lace sleeves, and full skirt, the gown exuded a classic charm that was complemented perfectly by an elegant veil.
The bouquet, crafted by Flowers by Lynette, was a soft and romantic arrangement featuring pastel tones. Delicate orchids, lilac blooms, and lush greenery added depth and texture, creating a whimsical yet graceful design. The setting—the lush gardens of Chateau on the Park DoubleTree Christchurch—provided a dreamy backdrop, enhancing the overall aesthetic.

With pink gerbera daisies, creamy white orchids, soft blue hydrangeas, and miniature roses, the arrangement was bold and unforgettable. This bouquet was the perfect pairing for a modern bride seeking something unique and fresh.
