Why Choose Ivorey CRM
Behind every wedding and portrait I capture is a CRM shaping your experience. Here’s why I chose Ivorey over Studio Ninja — for custom workflows, smoother journeys, and better client care.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you’ve wanted to create something completely different and unique for yourself, or you’re helping a loved one figure out their own special wedding day. Hopefully a few helpful pieces of advice can be found on this page. Not everyone wants the same thing, but it can be extremely hard finding resources or ideas along the line of yours! Just remember, at the end of the day, it doesn’t need to be a magazine perfect day. It needs to be YOUR day.

As you’ve made your way through The Kathryn Louise Weddings Journal, I hope you’ve found not just inspiration, but also a sense of reassurance that your love story is worth celebrating in a way that feels wholly your own. Every wedding, every couple, every fleeting glance and whispered vow is different, and that’s what makes this work so meaningful. For me, photography isn’t about perfect poses or ticking off a list of required images—it’s about stepping into your world and capturing the emotions, laughter, and in-between moments that will mean the most to you when you look back years from now.
This blog is my space to share those stories. You’ll see real weddings from across Christchurch, Canterbury, and beyond—each filled with unique touches, heartfelt details, and the personalities of the couples who created them. Alongside those stories, I’ll share practical advice, planning tips, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into what goes into photographing a wedding day. My hope is that whether you’re just beginning to dream about your celebration or are finalising the finishing touches, you’ll find something here that sparks ideas, eases a worry, or simply makes you smile.
But more than that, I want this journal to feel like a reminder that weddings are about people first. Yes, the flowers, dresses, venues, and décor matter—but it’s the way your dad tears up during the first look, the way your best friend laughs during the speeches, or the way you and your partner sneak a quiet breath together just before the ceremony that will stay in your heart forever. Those are the things I’m drawn to as a photographer, and those are the moments I’ll always be looking out for on your day.
If something here has resonated with you, I’d love to continue the conversation. Maybe you’ve read a planning tip that feels relevant to your own day, or perhaps you’ve seen a wedding I photographed that reminds you of your own vision. I would be so honoured to hear your story, your ideas, and your dreams for your wedding. Even if you’re still in the early stages and just exploring options, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
You can connect with me directly through my contact page, or follow along on Instagram at @kathrynlouiseweddings, where I share even more day-to-day moments and wedding highlights.
At the end of the day, your wedding is about love, connection, and memory—and it’s my joy to make sure those memories are preserved with the care and artistry they deserve. Thank you for visiting The Kathryn Louise Weddings Journal. I can’t wait to share more with you, and perhaps one day, to tell your story too.
